Very Handsome Puppy Available

There is one male Blenheim puppy available from the litter born October 21 at Gerald and Joanne's. Both parents are Blenheim, four little boys and one little girl. Two of them have already gone to their new homes and a third, the little girl, will go very soon. Gerald's cell number is 221-1758 and Joanne's cell is 221-5244. If you are considering adding to your family, you could never find anyone more dedicated to raising a healthy litter than they are. I know especially, because I was fortunate enough to puppysit with these precious babies once a week for over two months starting when they were only 24 hours old and what a wonderful experience it was. They are weighed twice every day to be sure everyone gets their fair share at Mom's milk, they had someone with them every day for over nine weeks, and when they were very little either Gerald or Joanne slept on a cot beside the whelping box every night to be sure they were safe. I don't know which of the puppies is the one still available, but following is a picture of the entire litter, don't you just what to kiss them to pieces! The cute little boy of the right with the "moustache" was the first one picked and he has gone to live on Maui.

Thank you to everyone who came to the Christmas Party in the Park in December. We had nice weather, lots of delicious cookies and some of us took a walk completely around the block where the Zoo is located, all with Cavaliers in Christmas finery. We certainly did make quite a few people smile. There are some pictures of the party, and one very nice one of Baily with his Christmas sacks of goodies which he wore for the walk on the Club website - cavalierclubofhawaii.org

Dues for the coming year are still only $15 and can be sent to the Club address: PO Box 628, Kaaawa, HI 96730.

There are dog shows coming up in late January through March and we have posted some of the dates on the website as well. You are always very welcome to come and cheer on our Club Cavaliers, talk dog story and bring along a potluck dish for lunch. There are several families showing now with some new dogs in the ring. Please come and join us.

Remember that some of our members, and others with Cavaliers, get together at the Hawaii Kai Dog Park at noon on the first Sunday of each month. The next date will be February 6.
